This year, BARSHA Mahapujo is more than a celebration—it is an emotion.
ANCHAL is inspired by a mother’s anchal—the timeless symbol of protection, warmth, comfort and unconditional love.
For every Bengali in Bengaluru, there are two lands that have embraced us like a mother. Bengal gave us our roots, culture and identity. Karnataka welcomed us, gave our dreams a home, and became a part of who we are today.
Through ANCHAL, BARSHA pays tribute to these two motherlands and the eternal sense of shelter and belonging they represent.
This emotion will come alive through our magnificent thematic pandal and Maa Durga in a never-before-seen thematic rupa, handcrafted by an award-winning artisan from Kumartuli, Kolkata.
Amidst the open expanse of South Avenue Grounds, experience the nostalgia of a true Maather Pujo—where Bengal meets Bengaluru under one sky.
This Pujo, come home to the shelter of an ANCHAL.
